Uses of Heads and Different Classification Forms
Head, as an important industrial component, is widely used in various fields. Its main purpose is to close the open end of a pipe, vessel or equipment for the purpose of pressure bearing, safety and sealing. The following is about the specific use and different classification forms of head.
I. Usage of head
Head is mainly used at the top or bottom of various kinds of pipes, tanks, reactors and other equipments to play the role of closure, pressure bearing and leakage prevention. In petrochemical, energy, metallurgy, pharmaceutical and other industries, heads play a vital role. 1. Classification according to shape
